Kayley didn’t know what to think… she was battling her want to be a good girlfriend and her want to act brave. She was really mad that Robin hasn’t told her before. He really should have told her. How was she supposed to trust him if he didn’t even tell her the truth? “You should have told me.” She said sadly. She was trying really hard not to be angry with him.
She took a deep breath and rested her head with her hand on her forehead. She was happy that he was safe. That was all that was important now. “Ok. I forgive you… but next time you have to tell me. I can handle myself and you know it and I can do it better if I know what’s going on before hand.” She said. She looked him in the eyes and knew he understood.
Finally she started to smile. She took his face in her hands that kissed him. “I’m glad you’re safe.” She smiled. Kayley leaned forward and hugged him again. She wasn’t ready to let go but she did anyway. “So what now? I feel like everything else is going to feel extremely boring after all the commotion earlier.” She laughed.

“I promise I’ll never keep something from you again! Please don’t doubt me.” Robin was genuinely worried. He didn’t expect her to get upset. He hoped she knew he hadn’t said anything so that she would be safe. ”I couldn’t risk Ratigan’s people coming after you. Now, before you say anything, I know perfectly well you can handle yourself. But I love you. I’m not just going to leave it to chance. I wasn’t about to sit back while you were put in danger. So I said nothing. Please, you can trust me. I just wanted you to make it out of this.”
Robin took her hands in his and scooted closer to her. ”Well, I don’t know how you feel after all the rushing about. I feel able to do anything. We should probably stay here for some time, though. Just in case.” Robin got up and quickly made up a fire in his little fireplace, casting a cozy glow across the room. Then he went back and joined Kayley on the couch.
“So, my dear, what do you feel like doing this evening? I know this isn’t the most exciting house, but I’m sure we can find something entertaining!”

You put Adam in the hospital? Most impressive. I must make an arrow with your name carved on it. Speaking of mirrors, I’m terribly sorry to hear what happened to your collection. It’s been circulating around the island pretty fast.
All I’m saying is, don’t get cocky. Madam. Always expect the unexpected, that’s what I say! In this case the unexpected could be a series of arrows.
Oh, my lady! Be careful! This second fugitive might be a force to be reckoned with! Please, take care of yourself!
Indeed. Justice should be served in such a situation. Although, I believe justice was served when we destroyed your mirrors.
You found one?! I mean, congratulations. Bloody thieves. And this person was working with another? How much did you see of this….um..rogue??
Very well, indeed. How are you, Madam?
So, Flynn taught me a little trick called “The Smolder….”
Oh great…. he got to you too.
Hey, Robin! What’s up? How have you beeeeeen?
I have been great! How about you?? Congratulations on the upcoming wedding!
Really really good! Oh man, thank you. Will I be seeing you there?
Of course! I wouldn’t miss it for the world!
